Jarin Baigent
Chief Executive Officer
Wyanga Aboriginal Aged Care Program
Jarin Ingram-Baigent is a Wiradjuri entrepreneur, advocate, and CEO of Wyanga Aboriginal Aged Care Program in Redfern. In this role, she leads one of Sydney’s longest-standing and most respected Aboriginal-led aged care services, dedicated to delivering culturally safe, high-quality in-home care to Elders across the inner-city area.
Jarin also serves as the Chairperson of the Redfern Aboriginal Alliance, a leadership table comprising prominent Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations working collectively to strengthen community voice and self-determination in Redfern.
A dedicated champion for Aboriginal economic empowerment, Jarin is founder and driving force behind Trading Blak, a national collective established in 2020 to challenge the misrepresentation of Aboriginal businesses and to support the growth of Indigenous-led enterprises in mainstream retail. Her advocacy in this space led to the launch of Jarin Street x Trading Blak—the first Aboriginal-owned fashion retail store in a Westfield centre—in late 2020.
In 2018, she founded Jarin Street, an Indigenous-owned activewear brand focused on creating functional, culturally rich apparel and mats that elevate Aboriginal artists and promote economic self-determination.
